Safe Families Monterey Bay Informational Meeting

  • Location: Calvary Kids (map)

Safe Families Monterey Bay is a Christian organization that seeks to keep families together by providing support and intervention to keep children out of the foster care system. Oftentimes in cases that do not involve abuse or neglect, when a family in crisis has no other family or friend support around them, social services need to get involved. Safe Families provides trained volunteers to provide that necessary support to help keep families together!

There are many ways to be involved in Safe Families. You could be a host family that offers to care for a child in your home temporarily. You could volunteer to provide practical support to host families or families in crisis through meals, transportation, respite care, or emotional support. You could be a parent coach to the parent in crisis and help guide them towards stability.

Watch the video to catch a vision for this amazing opportunity to practice biblical hospitality here in our community. Registration for the meeting is not required. Children will be supervised on the playground during the meeting.

If you can't make the in-person meeting but would be interested in attending a virtual meeting sometime soon, please click here.
