Mid-Quarter Check In Recordings

Hello Life Group Leaders, Hosts & Coaches:

This mid-quarter check-in is such a blessed and strategic time for us to gather. Halfway through the spring and fall quarters, we set aside time to reflect on the things that God has been doing in our group in ways we may not have time to do from week to week. Below are recordings from the mid-quarter check in’s that are hopefully inspiring and encouraging to you!

Spring 2025

Here is the Status Report for our Life Groups Spring 2025. This also includes opportunities for your group to consider serving together this quarter. Check it out and let me or your coach know if you have any questions.

This quarter, we reviewed some case studies of scenarios that could happen in Life Group. This printed guide for Life Group Leader/Host Case Studies outlines three scenarios (life crisis, sin issues, and mental health concerns) and includes the considerations that leaders and hosts should have for each one. I have also provided the audio version of the guide for your convenience. Please reach out to your coach if you have questions about any of these case studies.

Fall 2024

We are in a unique moment as a church. Our study in Philippians dovetails powerfully with the Future Church month of prayer and fasting. As we continue positioning ourselves to hear from the Lord, we know he will answer according to his purposes and promises. Listen to the devotional (below) that encourages us to lean further into the calling we have as Life Group leaders and hosts.

After you listen to the recording, please also fill out the Mid-Quarter Leader & Host Feedback Form, so that the Life Groups Team (me and the coaches!) can get an idea of the group dynamics at this point in the quarter.

Spring 2023

This quarter, we enjoyed hearing testimony from the leader and host duo Larry and Randy. They lead a men’s group where God is on the move! We also heard from Anne Jensen, Calvary’s Outreach Director, who gave us an update on our partnership with the Thailand Missions Team. In the time with our coaches, we spent time reflecting and praying over the group’s progress this spring.

If you and your ministry partner were not both able to attend the Mid-Quarter Check In together, please plan a time for you to connect with one another and with your coach in the coming week or two. Fall 2022

This quarter, we heard testimony from Rob & Sharon Leake, who have been doing amazing work in two different Life Groups this quarter. The Connect Group and the special interest Life Group have been a blessing to the members, and now their stories are blessing our Life Group ministry team!
